Beliefs

First Baptist Church of Brighton welcomes all individuals seeking God.

We believer in the One Living God, that represented in the Holy Trinity. The members of the Trinity are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

​

We believe that the Bible is God's holy word, inspired by the Holy Spirit and recorded by man. We that the Bible is inerrant and infallible.

​

We believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. That it is because of his sacrifice on the cross that we are able to be saved on our sins. We also believe, that it is only through belief in Jesus and his atoning sacrifice that one can be saved from their sin and reconnected to the Father.

We believe that baptism is a symbol of ones commitment to their salvation, and should only be done after a public confession of faith.

First Baptist Church of Brighton, is an independent congregation that works with other local bodies of believers. FBC Brighton works with the Baptist State Convention of Michigan and the Huron Baptist Association.
